To be quite honest, I haven't had time to think about my birthday or make any plans. I was up working on a paper this morning, and around 2 a.m., I had to stop myself and say 'HEY. you're 16, kid.'
I'm not sure if I should even do anything. I worked really hard for the money from the pageant work, and not even 24 hours later, I was pickpocketed $140 at a department store. I don't want my parents to feel obliged to give me money for my birthday and what not, they've already got enough to deal with. But it's still frustrating, you know? I was pretty worked up too, I wanted to go out and eat some Thai food or something, since I hear it's good and I like trying new things.
I GOT DOWN THE HUSTLE. Damn, now I will have to endure the humiliation when I have to perform for Sociology. I'm not kidding, it looks like a square-dancing disco hoedown with glitter and recreational drugs all over the place. except,the drugs are really baking powder, but everyone can deal.
My cousin Faris sent me a message on MSN for my birthday, "bahaab3k ya benteh!" AAH, sometimes I seriously miss my family in Israel sooooo much. He's in university right now, and he says everything is perfect at sunset. along with the coffee. I want to travel very badly one day. That, and somehow help people. Really, I'd be pretty happy.
